Arne Naess in memoriam

Norjasta on tullut monenlaista. Yksi vähemmän tunnetuista on eräs modernin ympäristöajattelun pioneereista, Arne Naess. Maanantaina kuollut Naess kehitti syvän ekologian (deep ecology) käsitteen, jolla on ollut huomatta vaikutus mm. ympäristöliikkeen kehitykseen.

By then, he predicted, population control would show results, technology would be noninvasive and children would grow up in a natural environment.
